Adriaan Janssen stood at the top of the Best Young Rider classification at Top Competitie's and secured himself a traineeship at WorldTour's Lotto NL Jumbo, starting August the 1st.
The 21-year old finished in seventh place at TT Emmen and together with his win in the cobbled Omloop van der Braakmen and other top placements allowed him to keep the white and orange jersey on his shoulders. A traineeship at the Dutch WorldTour squad awaited for the rider who finished on top of that classification after the time trial in Emmen. The strong Dutchman made his advantage count and secured a place among the pros.
"I want to experience what is like to be a real pro, but above all I want to learn how to be a better rider. I am very happy with that opportunity and I hope to achieve good results. It feels great to finally achieve it after being there all year long. It was nice to win and be in the front during some of the races, and even though that the last results were not that good I am happy how the whole team worked together for it."
