Alberto Dainese will ride for the Academy
We are delighted to announce that Alberto Dainese will join the Academy. The 20-year rider will follow the footsteps of fellow Italian compatriot, Edoardo Affini, and will join the team for the next two seasons. “I am nothing but happy with this move! I am really looking forward to these new experience which I believe that will bring me a lot on both, professional and personal level” highlights Dainese.

Alberto outstands for his fast finish and his well-doing in mass sprints. His victory on stage 9 of the last U23 Giro d’Italia was just another proof of his talent. Dainese, will be looking forward to one-day classics and stage races in the coming season in order to keep improving as a bike rider. “I want to get better and I believe that the Academy’s will be the right environment to do so. We will ride a great calendar and I think that personally I can get the most of sprinters classics as well as stage races and be competitive all season long”.

The professionalism and the experience of the Academy were two of the things that attracted the talented Italian rider. “From the very first approach I had with the team’s management I strongly believe that this is the best choice for me to grow up and become a professional rider. The organization is professionally run and very well organized, which is a huge help for all the riders”.
