All set and ready to start the Tour de Normandie
Today we kick off our first stage race of the season, the Tour of Normandie. During the next seven days our riders will be fighting on French roads, starting today with a 140 km long stage between the towns of Saint-Pierre-En-Auge and Le Neubourg. This race is one of the most important goals of the team in the early part of the season, and a lot of preparation has been put into it. After last year’s success, where Fabio Jakobsen finished off some really strong teamwork and won a stage, we come into the race with a lot of confidence and ready to make all the hard work count.

Lineup Tour de Normandie: Julius van den Berg, Cees Bol, Jordi Meeus, Jan Maas, Peter Lenderink and Stevie Williams.

DS for the race, Michel Cornelisse, shares the team goals coming into the race:
“With the team we line-up here we have to fight for everything, stage wins and GC. Being a race without a time trial or a long mountain top finish, it will be very important to pay attention to all kind of details in order to make a difference in the overall classification. We have a really strong team and  I see a group of motivated riders, so I have a good feeling coming into it”.
