Bol: “We will have the strongest lineup in Tour de Bretagne”
Winner of the Wanzeel Koerse, second in a stage in Tour de Normandie and runner up in the overall classification of the Circuit des Ardennes. Cees Bol’s presentation card for the 2018 season has already some impressive results after only two months of racing. “So far I am happy with how the season is going, I’ve been able to win already and I’ve been close several other times. I am in good shape and always contesting for the victory, but being up there and not winning brings me some dissatisfaction, so I am looking forward to cross the line first again” highlights the 22-year old Dutchman.

Bol will start on Saturday’s Arno Wallaard Memorial before travelling to France to race one of his early season goals, the Tour de Bretagne. The Dutch all-rounder feels calm and relax ahead of the both races, knowing that all the hard work is already in the books. “I believe that I have the potential to perform great in both races, I am not afraid of the strong competition. In Bretagne I will take it day by day because I have the feeling that each stage will be a different story. Moreover, I am really confident on my teammates. They were great in Liège-Bastogne-Liège and showed they their condition was on point, so I frankly think that we will come into the race with the strongest lineup”.

After a solid start of the year the talented Dutch rider looks forward to more success and keep on improving as a rider. “The most important thing is that I am riding a great program and that helps a lot in my development. After Tour de Bretagne I will do a lot of one-day races in amateur and pro level. In the Napoleon Games Cycling Cup I will be racing against WT riders, which will help me to step up and show that I have the level not only to compete but also to get results in the pro ranks” concludes Bol.
