Tomorrow we will be back in action at the Grote Prijs Jef Scherens – Rondom Leuven. The race previews a fast and tough race as the predominantly flat parcours and the local laps will be filled with continuous attacks and attempts to make it far away from the main group. The fact that the starting list is filled with WT and PT teams is a challenge for our riders, that will be fighting to get the best possible out of the day.

Lineup Grote Prijs Jef Scherens: Corbin Strong, Harrison Wood, Maikel Zijlaard, Milan Paulus, Wessel Krul, Sean Flynn and Dries de Pooter.

Dries Hollanders, Academy DS for the race:
“We have a positive feeling coming into the race. The shape of the guys is good and the morale is high as they want to really show themselves. Tactics wise it will be an interesting race and we have to be well-organized to cover the needed moves and make sure that there is one of us in the front. We have the right people to do so and also we have the option of Corbin (Strong) if the race comes down to a sprint”.
