After a great week of racing around the French region of Bretagne, we faced the last stage before wrapping up the 2019 edition. The race featured, as per usual, and after several attempts to make it to the breakaway of the day. It was eventually a group of four riders the one that got the gap and spent the day up front. The peloton paced well the chase and made it back in time in order to contest the stage win through a bunch sprint. Our guys worked together to put yesterday’s winner, Alberto Dainese, in contention for his fourth stage win, but today was not the case and our talented Italian narrowly missed the Top 10. However, we can look back to great edition of the race, in which we proved that we are not afraid of taking the race responsibility and deliver Alberto Dainese to the win.

Meanwhile, in Germany, another expedition of the Academy was enjoying an action-packed day at Eschborn-Frankfurt U23. A race in which we have not been off the podium in the last two seasons and today was not an exception as Kaden Groves sprinted to second in the 2019 edition. The Australian sprinter alongside Daan Hoole were the two Academy jerseys that could be found in the front after the group split once the main climb of the day was crested. In the local laps, the Dutchman rode in support of our sprinter, and the fast Australian could take second in the day.
