Why did you start cycling?

I played water polo when I was younger. As soon as I didn’t enjoy it as much as I used to, I started to search for a new sport. My father and I did some rides on our bikes through the dunes, and that’s where it all started!

Name your specialties:

I don’t have a real specialty yet. My climbing abilities are pretty good, so is my time trial and uphill sprint. A bit all-round for now, we’ll see what happens in the future.

What do you do besides cycling?

I am studying Small Business & Retail Management at the moment.

Tell us your goals for 2017.

Try to learn as much as possible and maybe try to squeeze a podium outta somewhere!?

What’s your favorite race in the 2017 calendar?

As I am coming from the juniors, I don’t know all the races, but I am definitely looking out for the hilly stage races!

What’s your dream race to win at the pros in the future?

That would be a stage in the Tour de France.
