Daan Hoole just quicked off his third season in the U23 ranks. After two successful years in the Academy in which he developed all the way to U23 Dutch Time Trial Champion, 6th in the U23 European Championships TT and Top 10 in the U23 Worlds TT, the 21-year old is ready to make yet another step further in his development in 2020. “I look back to the start of the season with mixed feelings. I am really happy and proud on how the team performed, but I crashed in Ster van Zwolle and missed Wanzele Koerse and GP Samyn. Hopefully, I bounced back in time for Rucphen, where we did an amazing job as a team” highlights Daan.
Hoole, identifies the two month that most of our talents spend in Greece during winter as a key point to build up a great chemistry in which everyone is ready to give it all for their teammates. “The vibe in the team is really good. We work really well as a team, we showed it last Sunday and we want to help each other to make the best out of every race. Each of us believe a lot in our teammates and that’s what makes us stronger”.
The multi-talented Dutchman is already looking ahead and feels calm and relaxed about the coming goals. Hoole will line up for Saturday’s Ronde van Drenthe and will also be part of our Olympia’s Tour squad. “My next two races will be Ronde van Drenthe and Olympia’s Tour. I know that I can do well in both, but specially in Olympia’s Tour I want to go for a high-placement in GC and I am really looking forward to the TTT with the team. I believe that we have done the right training to fight for the win”.
