What is your role within SEG Racing Academy?
I’m the Academy Manager, which means I look after pretty much all different areas that form SEG Racing Academy and allow our riders to work on their growth.

What is your background in cycling?
I’ve been racing a bike myself for quite some years. Like everyone involved in this project, I’m passionate about this sport. It’s great to play a role in the development of the future stars and pay our share in trying to move the cycling world forward.

What are your academy goals for 2018?
Both on #TalentDevelopment as on #ProductDevelopment we want to keep on winning! To develop riders, win races, move youngsters up to the pro ranks and to ensure the sustainability of this ambitious project!

What is your role within SEG Racing Academy?
Performance coach, head of training and responsible for the performance analysis and data. I personally train 10 of the 16 riders and I’m responsible for the training camps. I’m in constant contact with the rest of trainers about the riders’ training and physical condition level.

What is your background in cycling?
Pro rider for 6 years, multiple times Greek champion on road and track. In 2000, I became the first ever Greek pro cyclist when I signed a contract with the Austrian Continental team Volksbank-Ideal. Since 2012 I also coach riders from Pro Tour teams and I work as UCI expert delivering coaching courses of level 1 and level 2 on road and track.

What are your academy goals for 2018?
Following the original idea behind the creation of the team, my goal is to educate and help the riders reach their potential by providing them with the best possible training environment. Our goal is to help them reach the highest possible physical condition level and give them the opportunity to perform well and win as many races as possible.
