The Omloop van de Braakman is back tomorrow, and our talents alongside the bunch will be ready to tackle the 168 km long route that will feature several cobbled sections that will eventually become a decisive factor in the race. The Academy will present a lineup that will combine riders that come from racing at Ronde de l’Isard, and riders that have been training specifically towards one-day races. Also, Jesper Rasch is currently sitting in fifth place in the overall standings of the Top Competitie just 20 points behind the current leader.

Lineup Omloop van de Braakman: Maikel Zijlaard, Milan Paulus, Jesper Rasch, Stan van Tricht, Wessel Krul and Daan Hoole.

Harm Bronkhorst, Academy Coach and DS for the race shares the team’s ambitions for tomorrow:
“We have 3 goals for this race. Like always we go for the best possible result, with this line up that means that we go for the win. Jesper Rasch is in a good position in the overall classification of the competition and has the first place at reach, so it will be also a goal to try to bring him on the podium. However, to reach this goals we have to work 100% together as a team, and that is the third goal. Most of the riders did the Ronde de l’Isard last week, after 5 days of recovery they will normally be in good form on the start line. Wessel Krul also has some form in his legs after winning the first stage over there, so I expect that the vibe will be great”.
