Preview Circuit des Ardennes
05/04/2018
Tomorrow five of our riders will be in the start line of France’s Circuit des Ardennes. Short and steep climbs will be featured in the four stages that the race will tackle in just three days, as on Sunday the bunch will take part in a morning and an afternoon road race stages. Our lineup will be filled with strong riders, all of them capable to fight for the stage win day in day out, as well as a for a top placement in the final overall classification. We have been off to a great start of the season, and the form and condition of our five representatives has done nothing but improve. Some of them have been able to put their arms up in the air already and to fight for high placements, so our goal for the weekend will be none other than fighting, once again, for the win.
Lineup Circuit des Ardennes: Cees Bol, Ide Schelling, Jan Maas, George Stavrakakis and Stevie Williams.
Cees Bol will be aiming for a stage win and a good overall performance:
“I feel ready and confident. It was a hard week of racing in Normandie, but recovery has gone well ever since and I could complete some great training sessions with high power numbers. I have looked at the parcours and there are some really hard stages which perfectly suits our team. I have a lot of confidence in our every one starting in this race and I believe that we can be fighting for the stage wins and of course for the overall classification. Regarding my personal ambitions, I will be fighting for the win everyday, after winning in Wanzeel and being close to win again Normandie I can’t wait to race for the victory again, and if we do a good job in every stage then a high GC placement will come along the way. Most importantly, I think that we have to work as one unit and make the team factor count. We have a really strong lineup and a lot of different options when it comes to making a winning strategy, so we must take advantage of that and put the team in contention for the overall win”.
