With just one day in between, we are back to the racing mode with the Egmond Cycling Race. With start and finish at Zottegem, the race presents a 192 km long parcour with 4 short steep climbs that the peloton will tackle several times in the local laps and will be key when it comes to deciding the final outcome of the race. The Egmond Cycling Race will be the first one with the Academy of our trainee Nikos Drakos. The Greek rider has come to the Academy all the way through the blueprint team that we have in Greece, the Fleet Complete Cycling Academy, and is ready to make the most out of this opportunity.

Lineup Egmond Cycling Race: Corbin Strong, Harrison Wood, Milan Paulus, Wessel Krul, Sean Flynn, Tom Day and Nikos Drakos.

Dries Hollanders, Academy DS for the race:
“We arrive at the race with a similar lineup as yesterday. We are confident that we can do well and the riders are highly motivated to work hard and try to sneak into any opportunity that we get in front of us. Like yesterday, we have several cards to play depending on the scenario of the race, so that could give us an advantage”
