After a very solid round of action at the Flanders Tomorrow Tour, our talents will lose no time and get back to action tomorrow at the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad U23. The talent’s version of the WorldTour race will hold several cobbled sections that will become key when deciding the eventual winner of the day. The last time we rode there, we achieved a strong result with Jordi Meeus crossing the line in fifth place, a placement that we hope to improve this time around. Our line up will feature the return of Dries de Pooter after a short stint with Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert as a part of his traineeship.

Line up Omloop Het Nieuwblad U23: Marco Frigo, Milan Paulus, Wessel Kul, Dries de Pooter and Tom Day.

Pim Ligthart, Academy DS for the race:
“We can be very optimistic coming into the race as we have shown our current form in the Flanders Tomorrow Tour. The morale of the team is also very high, so it will be a matter of waiting how the race plays out and taking the lead in order to maximize our outcome. Marco and Wessel have been racing for the win during these past three days, Milan has been showing his form at the service of the team together with Tom. We hope that Dries has recovered properly from his crash in Germany”.
