Ronde van Achterhoek will be our next target in our racing calendar. Tomorrow, our talents will set out for the 204 km long course with the aim of repeating the success that we had there in 2018 when Cees Bol outsprinted the competition and won in a dominant way. The parcours feature several gravel sections that will be key when deciding the eventual winner of the day. After a succession of one-day races at 1.1 level, our lineup arrives at Ronde van Achterhoek in fine form and ready to make the most out of the day.
Line up Ronde van Achterhoek: Corbin Strong, Maikel Zijlaard, Wessel Krul, Tom Day, Sean Flynn, Jesper Rasch and Nikos Drakos.
Dries Hollanders, Academy DS for the race:
“We have started in many one-day races over the recent weeks, so we the condition has been improving and the chemistry within the group as well. I am confident that we can put together a winning worthy performance here. It will be a challenging day for us but also for our equipment with that many gravel sections, but we have it all in favour in the mechanical war. We know what to do in order to be successful, we did in 2018 and we hope to repeat it all over again”.
