The bunch was off to a very fast start completing a little bit more of 45 km in the first hour of training. Finally and after several attempts a trio of riders got the gap and formed the breakaway of the day. Today’s stage had four first category climbs inside and interval of 26 km and that section was key for forming an 11-man leading group, after 8 riders jumped off the peloton and joined the three previous leaders. Our guys entered to the final circuit riding inside the bunch as the chase was on.
The leaders couldn’t keep the gap and the peloton got all together into the last kilometer. The stage winner was came from a bunch sprint with our guys rolling in that group.
