The morning stage saw our riders getting down the ramp for the first time trial of the season. The 10km loop around Chièvres did not stop our Edoardo Affini as he powered to 8th place just six seconds down the stage winner. After a solid effort against the clock, Jan Maas and Hartthijs de Vries, moved up to 13th and 15th in GC. 

The afternoon stage presented a challenging start where the riders had to tackle up to six categorized climbs within the first 40 km before getting into the final circuit. Ide Schelling put on a solid effort today as he was part of the breakaway of the day and was only caught with less than 10 km to go, earning the Most Aggressive Rider of the Day award along the way. The bunch picked up the speed in the last lap and the final victory was decided in a bunch sprint, Hartthijs De Vries and Jan Maas got to the line in the main group and secured their GC positions. 

We can look back to a good weekend of racing, but we are already looking forward to the next one! Good job!
