Tomorrow's Dutch one-day classic, Echt-Susteren, will set an important milestone for our Peter Lenderink. More than 4 months after undergoing surgery for removing the vasoconstriction in his groin, the strong Dutchman will line-up tomorrow for a race for the first time this season. Hard day out in GP Stad Zottegem

It was a hard day on the bike for our 5-man squad in Belgium's GP Stad Zottegem. The race was off to a fast start with many attackers trying to go on the break of the day, and our riders kept the Academy's flag well represented. Cees Bol makes his comeback today in Zottegem

Today's Belgian one day classic, GP Stad Zottegem, marks Cees Bol comeback at racing level. The 2016 winner of the Olympia's Tour suffered a domestic accident on March 3rd, just a couple of days before GP Lillers where he was supposed to kick off his 2017 season:"I just came back from training and I was resting at home, when all the sudden I fainted because standing up fast and fell on my head. Cees Bol Due to a concussion as a result of his crash in the beginning of March, Cees Bol is not back on the bike yet. Luckily, he is slowly getting better, but only time can help Cees get fully fit again. We don’t push things, as it is important to recover properly before resuming hard training sessions. Cees Bol Even though he was more than ready to kick off his season, Cees Bol suffered an unfortunate incident at home. A knock on his head resulted in a severe concussion. We are being extra careful with Cees, monitoring him day by day to see when it will be appropriate for him to get back on the bike. This is obviously a big blow for the winner of Olympia’s Tour 2016, who had ambitious goals for this spring.
