The morning stage saw our riders getting down the ramp for the first time trial of the season. The 10km loop around Chièvres did not stop our Edoardo Affini as he powered to 8th place just six seconds down the stage winner. Circuit des Ardennes done and dusted

That’s a wrap for our guys in Circuit des Ardennes! In the short and explosive morning stage, the peloton tackled a 76km long parcour with several climbs along the way. It was a hectic start before a 4-men group jumped off the bunch in the last difficulty of the day, and rode to the finish line. Williams sprints to fourth in Circuit des Ardennes’ stage 1

After numerous attacks in the first kilometers of the race, a three-man group formed the break of the day. They were allowed a gap of close to five minutes. Our riders remained in the bunch as it went through the last categorized climb of the day. The leading trio was then caught on the descent. In the closing kilometers, our riders positioned Stephen Williams for the final uphill sprint, but the bunch was sent the wrong way with 100 meters to go.
