The Dutch Ronde van de Achterhoek was on the menu for our guys today. The course consisted in a predominantly flat parcour that computed a total of 186,4 km including six laps at the final local circuit that was 8 km long. The day started in a bad way as our Marten Kooistra was forced to withdraw from the race after finding himself involved in a crash. That was a wrap to our participation at the Czech Tour, and our guys did not miss the opportunity of showing the Academy's flag. After several attempts it was Marten Kooistra who made it to the breakaway of the day alongside seven other riders. Sixth place in the opening TTT at the Czech Tour

The 2017 edition of the Czech Cycling Tour kicked off in Uničov with a 18,6 km long Team Time Trial. It was a fast parcour with some with some technical section that our guys overcame sensationally in their way to a final sixth place overall, with four riders finishing just 28 seconds down on the winning squad. Yesterday's Omloop het Hageland marked the debut of our new trainee, Jordi Meeus. The course presented a mix of cobbles and dust that made the race even tougher for the peloton. Hard day out for the team in Top Competitie's TT Emmen. Three of our riders featured the final top 10 of today's 27 km time trial. The race presented a flat and tough parcour which was run in the open roads around the Dutch city.  Our first rider off the ramp was Hartthijs de Vries, who put on big power during the whole length of the circuit and ended up in sixth overall. Fabio takes fifth at Koga Slag om Norg

As expected, the gravel roads of Koga Slag om Norg decided a very hectic day on the bike. The breakaway of the day was quickly formed, and three riders broke away from the back at a very early stage of the day. The peloton allowed them over seven minutes before the they started chasing back. A crash in the last edition of the Ronde van Vlaanderen U23 resulted in a broken collarbone for Marten Kooistra. Thanks to a lot of work and a speedy recovery, the Dutch rider will be at the start line of Sunday's Paris-Roubaix U23: "My recovery was really fast and after a week I was riding on the Tacx. Then I started riding outdoors again and I felt that I was getting better day by day." Cees Bol Due to a concussion as a result of his crash in the beginning of March, Cees Bol is not back on the bike yet. Luckily, he is slowly getting better, but only time can help Cees get fully fit again. We don’t push things, as it is important to recover properly before resuming hard training sessions. Gabriel Cullaigh finishes tenth in stage 4 of Tour de Normandie

It was a cold, rainy and windy day in Tour de Normandie. Stage three kicked off at the foot of a 2 km long hill, and after several attempts the breakaway was composed. Five riders, including our Marten Kooistra went up the road and worked together during the vast majority of the stage. Meanwhile the peloton was riding at controlled tempo, keeping the leader's gap always around two minutes.
