It wasn’t until the first cobbles section of the day that the breakaway finally went clear. They leading group was formed by 11 riders, including our Adriaan Janssen, and were allowed more than two minutes and a half by the bunch. A crash in the last edition of the Ronde van Vlaanderen U23 resulted in a broken collarbone for Marten Kooistra. Thanks to a lot of work and a speedy recovery, the Dutch rider will be at the start line of Sunday's Paris-Roubaix U23: "My recovery was really fast and after a week I was riding on the Tacx.
