Affini: “SEG Racing Academy is the perfect fit for me”

After kicking off his season last weekend with Ster van Zwolle, Edoardo Affini will be back on his bike tomorrow for an action-packed weekend at Ronde van Drenthe and Dorpenomloop Rucphen. The 20-year old rode for the Italian Team Brilla last year, claiming the GP de Nardi and was selected for several races with the national elite squad. First weekend of racing – recap

What a start of the season for our guys! Last week, Stephen Williams won the Wattmeister competition. He is now one step closer to a traineeship with Katusha Cycling. On Saturday, Fabio Jakobsen spent the day working in the breakaway and, after following all the late attacks, launched and dominated the final sprint to take the victory at Ster Van Zwolle! Ster van Zwolle: first race, first victory

Ster van Zwolle was our first race of the season and what a race it was! An early 9-man breakaway including Fabio Jakobsen was allowed up to 9 minutes by the bunch. The main group tried to get back the break cutting the gap down to 5 min with 30 km remaining, but victory remained upfront. After controlling  some attacks by his breakaway companions in the final end of the course, Fabio sprinted to victory! What a way to kick off our season!continue reading →
