As expected, today was a hard day out  in Belgium. Four categorized climbs were tackled before the riders got to the final circuit with the cobbled climb of the Châteux d’Aitoing was awaiting twice. After a hectic start the peloton did not give much room to the breakaways that were trying to go clear. A massive crash in the first part of the stage, led to the race being neutralized by the organization.
