Why did you start cycling?

My father rode his MTB at the weekends and I started riding with him from the age of 10. I got the bug and joined my local cycling club. I loved the competitiveness of it, which drove me to train harder going up through the youth and junior ranks.

Name your specialties:
My specialty is the individual time trial and I rode the London Six Day madison event in 2019 which I’d love to ride again as the atmosphere is fantastic.

What do you do besides cycling?

In my spare time outside of training I like to play guitar and listen to music. I’ve recently been learning to drive.

Tell us your goals for 2021.

I’m keen to earn my wings in the U23 ranks and I want to support SEG to achieve some race wins in 2021. Of course a big race win would be nice and a time trial stage win will certainly be at top of my goals for this year.

What’s your favorite race in the 2021 calendar?

I was looking forward to Le Triptyque des Monts et Chateaux Stage Race as the time trial stage and terrain should suit me well. It’s a prestigious race in the U23 calendar with some big names such as Tom Dumoulin, Bob Jungels and Thomas De Gendt on the previous list of winners. Maybe next year!

What’s your dream race to win at the pros in the future?

My dream is to be the elite men’s ITT world champion one day.
