Training Camp Limburg
19/03/2021
From Friday to Sunday our team will get together in Watersley Sports & Talentpark in Limburg, The Netherlands, as we get ready for the upcoming races. We will be using this period to get to know each other, as most of the international riders will join as well. While the current situation is constantly changing which makes it difficult to make a good program, the team succeeded in this with the upcoming short training camp in Limburg, races in Greece (GP Rhodes and the International Tour of Rhodes) and a general training camp with the whole team in Limburg again next month to prepare for the next races in the upcoming months. Everyone in our team bubble was tested and following a 100% rate on negative results, we will be COVID-19 proof in our team bubble.
Sven Jonker, SEG Racing Academy Director:
“With how the current situation is going worldwide, we are very excited to be able to get most of the team together for a short training camp in Limburg. We have done different training camps in Spain, Greece and the Netherlands, but the riders were spread out. After the first block of two races, to which we look back on a very positive note, it’s time to focus on the upcoming goals and set the perfect platform to allow our talents to grow on and off the bike to reach their personal goals. Our season will continue with the GP Rhodes and the International Tour of Rhodes after this weekend’s training camp. After that we will get together again in our official training camp and get the legs ready for being back in the racing scene in the upcoming months.”
