As a fresh new signing for 2020, our Harrison Wood is enjoying his first training camp in Loutraki as the Academy sets the corner stone for a great season. “The training camp has been really good so far. We have all made some good training rides and also a good baseline for future by doing the 20min test. The efforts have been focused in the z3/4 with good focus on building strength. It’s nice to have this structure” highlights the British climber.

The talented British rider is getting to know in first hand the experience of training in Loutraki, and why we keep on coming there every year for two training camps. “Loutraki is quite a cool place in my opinion. It’s nice and relaxed but also has good roads for making nice training rides with the teammates” points out Wood.

Last Wednesday Wood took part in the Tour de Zwift, a new experience for the young rider. “The Tour de Zwift was pretty hard! It was also interesting to see how you could race on a virtual platform. It was only my 2nd time on Zwift so I still didn’t really quite understand the race situation and how you adapt to it. Was a good workout none the less”.
